一、物理学院介绍
大连理工大学物理学院（ [申请查看] ），前身是大连理工大学物理系，始建于 1949 年，首任系主任是著名物理学家、两院院士 王大珩 先生。
2006 年成立物理与光电工程学院， 2017 年更名为物理学院。
学院设有大学物理国家级实验教学示范中心、三束材料改性教育部重点实验室、教育部磁约束聚变研究中心（大连分部）、物理与光电实验教学中心、等离子体科学与技术中心、光物理与纳米科学中心、理论物理研究所、凝聚态物理与能源材料研究所、原子与分子物理研究所等教学科研机构。
学院拥有雄厚的师资力量，现有教职工 125 人，其中教授 45 人、副教授 56 人。
师资队伍中包括国家级人才获得者 11 人，国务院学科评议组成员 3 人，人社部高层次留学回国人才支持计划 1 人，国家 ITER 计划专项项目首席科学家和项目责任专家 2 人， “ 兴辽英才计划 ” 百千万人才工程领军 1 人、特聘教授 3 人、青年拔尖 3 人。
