Laboratory Introduction

Shuli Luo is an assistant professor inFaculty of Humanities and Social Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong(Shenzhen). Shuli's research interests lie in the inter-disciplinary researchcovering transport policy, geography, and data science. In particular, Shuli ispassionate about how burgeoning development of various urban big data alongwith advanced techniques could reshape our understanding of urban environment.

Job Description

Applicants should have:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field(e.g. GIS, Urban studies, Transportation, Environmental studies);

2. Strong research, analytical, andproblem-solving skills;

3. Excellent written and verbalcommunication abilities in English and Chinese;

4. Proficiency with data analysis software(e.g. ArcGIS, SPSS, R, Python);

5. Ability to work independently as wellas collaboratively;

6. Exceptional attention to detail andorganizational skills;

7. Candidates who demonstrate a stronginterest in pursuing an academic career in this region are preferred.

Job Duties include:

1. Project related research andapplication;

2. Project coordination and other affairs;

3. Undertaking other duties assigned bythe supervisor.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Salary will be comparable to internationalstandards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments willbe made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will beprovided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well asCUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
