戚兵，上海纽约大学物理副教授（ tenure-track ），博士生导师，美国光学学会会士，同时 为华东师范大学精密光谱科学与技术国家重点实验室兼职教授。
戚兵本科毕业于南京大学物理系，之后获得大连理工大学博士学位。
先后在清华大学，美国弗吉尼亚理工大学，加拿大多伦多大学，美国橡树岭国家实验室，美国田纳西大学以及思科公司从事量子通信及光纤传感器研究工作。
戚兵 博士于 2023 年加入上海纽约大学并创建量子光子学实验室，目前的主要研究方向为量子保密通信及网络。

岗位职责：

作为博士后研究员，您的主要职责包括：

• 在量子光子学领域开展前沿研究，重点关注量子通信、量子网络和光学传感。

• 参与量子光子实验室的建设与管理。

• 协助研究生及本科生的科研指导工作。

• 在国际学术期刊及国内外学术会议上发表研究成果。

• 作为项目负责人（ PI ）或联合负责人（ co-PI ），参与科研经费申请工作。

资格要求：

• 具有物理学、电子工程或相关领域的博士学位。

• 具有扎实的光纤光学实验经验。

• 具有良好的英语听说读写能力。

• 优先考虑：具备相干光通信或连续变量量子通信研究经验的候选人。

PostdoctoralPosition Available in Prof. Bing Qi’s group at NYU Shanghai

We are seeking one or two dynamic individuals with a Ph.D. in physics, electricaland computer engineering (ECE), or arelated field to join our cutting-edge quantum photonics research team at NYU [申请查看] will be given to candidates with a strong background in experimentalquantum communications or fiber optic communications.

Responsibilities:

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:

• Conduct cutting-edge research on quantum photonics, with a focus on quantumcommunication, quantum networking, and optical sensing.

• Contribute to the development and management of a quantum photonics lab.

• Co-supervise graduate and undergraduate students.

• Publish research papers in scientific journals and present results at conferences.

• Contribute to the development of funding proposals as a Principal Investigator(PI) or co- PI.

Key Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or a relatedfield.

• Strong hands-on experience in fiber optic experiments.

• Excellent communication skills in English;
fluency in Chinese is desirable.

• Desirable: Previous experience in coherent optical communication orcontinuous- variable quantum communication.

• Desirable: Previous experience in optical lab management.
