Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated students working towards a finance, business, or a related degree that are interested in financial and digital asset markets to join our internship program. Our interns will get the opportunity to learn and experience the intricacies of working in a trading firm supporting teams of experienced traders and quants. You will also learn about trade processing and operational excellence alongside industry specific training. Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in processing trade reconciliations, settlements and other operational activities to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Operate using internal systems and other online platforms to manage operational workflows effectively
• Maintaining client and system database
• Manage operational due diligence process
• Assist in various account openings
• Collaborate with the team on daily operational tasks and workflow improvements
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy across processes
• Escalate issues in a timely manner and help establish best practices
• Reporting to the Head of Operations
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Sciences or related discipline (in the third or final year)
• Understanding of financial instruments, including digital assets and traditional finance a benefit
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
• Detailed orientated and mindful of risk mitigation requirements
• Excellent communication skills, team player and positive can-do attitude
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in trading and global financial markets
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
