Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Providing research assistance tofaculties, including but not limited to data collection and processing,empirical analysis, literature review, assistance in research grantapplications, etc.;
2. Providing teaching assistance tofaculties, including but not limited to exam/assignment grading, holdingtutorial and office hours, preparation of teaching materials, studentconsultation/supervision, etc.;
3. Providing administrative support forother academic activities, such as forums, conferences, lectures, symposiums,etc.;
4. Undertaking other assignments assignedby the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A bachelor ’ s degree, preferably a higher degree inFinance, Economics, Statistics, or other related fields;
2. Outstanding teaching and communicationskills;
3. Proficiency in English writing and oralcommunication;
4. Ability to work independently, as wellas teamworking/collaboration skills;
5. Strong sense of responsibility;
6. Proficiency in programming/statisticalsoftware/languages such as Stata, SAS, Python, R, Matlab, etc. is preferable
7. Qualifications such as CFA, FRM wouldbe a plus.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensuratewith qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under theestablishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according tothe prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based atthe University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
